Hungry? Want to take some friends out and are looking for a Kosher restaurant?

parameter i.e. dairy, city, etc. and there you go.
Some of them even give you an idea regarding the price.

Since I was still in the mood for food I jumped into zipple. I have to
admit that their jumping icons drove me a bit mad but I was able to find most of the
guides for kosher restaurants. In addition I looked at their history page. Following it to
American Jewish history I looked up Jewish in the civil war. The files were
fascinating although the background bothered me.

It getting that time. Are you or your children looking for a summer program. The best
first step is at the Israel Experience site allowing you to choose a program
according to age, religious affiliation, or according to topics of interest.

While you can't view the actual films from The Speilberg Jewish Film Archive, you
can get some really nice posters to download for your desktop.
http://www.starkman.com/aviva/yiddish.html
Ahh mama loshen. If you have a love for the language, Avivale's Yiddish Page
has both information and great links. By the way, I liked the Indian joke.
http://www.library.yale.edu/testimonies/homepage.html
On a far more serious note. Someone asked me if I know where they could find
holocaust testimonies on the web.The best site was not Speilberg's but the
Fortunoff Video Archive for Holocaust Testimonies at Yale. Each testimony also has
a download and although they put only a fraction of what they have on the net, it is
worth looking at. More important, if you are a school or community group, you can
use their catalog and borrow them for free.
http://www.jewishworldreview.com/
Truly a facinating site! The Jewish World Review, a fairly comprehensive
Jewish webzine is published daily and has thought-provoking articles on everything
Jewish, commentaries on politics and society, great short stories, and a whole slew
of columnists. Very worth your while to visit.

http://www.orthodoxunion.org/chagim/elul/default.htm
The month of Elul is a time for reflection. The Orthodox Union website,
commonly known as the OU, has compiled a whole array of information for those
in the teshuva (repentance) mode. For those not in that mode, read the
"Resh-Lakish," the Reformed Bandit article..you might get inspired.
