According to Isaac Bashevis Singer, "literature is the window into the soul of a people." And summer is always the best time to sit back with a cool drink and read a book, or even just listen to one. KCRW is a radio station operating out of Santa Monica College which put online 18 hours of Jewish short stories featuring Isaac Bashevis Singer, Sholom Aleichem, I.L. Peretz, Saul Bellow, Bernard Malumud, E.L. Doctorow and Philip Roth. A great way to while the hours away, and with your eyes closed at that.

Did you ever have a quickie question to ask regarding Judaism, but may have wanted a different perspective? The Ask a Rabbi site features ten different Rabbis from all the streams, and their answers are fascinating. One recent question, which caught my eye, was whether relationships are preserved in Olam Haba.

Commercial it may be, but the D.D. Travel site has excellent information regarding places to visit, eat and general information which can be of excellent service to the tourist in Israel.
