The About Israel website is an information/hasbara site for Israel that was started by a group of concerned citizens to combat the 100's of anti-Israel sites on the internet. Included is an outstanding presentation of the events of June 7th 1981 - Israel's bombing of the Iraqi "Tammuz 1" nuclear reactor.
I have seen dozens of sites to help the Jewish traveler but this one took me a while to believe. If you are in mourning and want to say Kaddish, or wish to find a minyan for general prayer, then try Go Daven - The Worldwide Orthodox Minyan Database. I typed in Italy and got quite a few responses. Now all I need is the money for the trip.
