Need to look up a quick word in Hebrew? Well, the best place to start is at the indefatigable Jacob Richman's site - My Hebrew Dictionary. It is simple and quick. Hopefully one day, he will be able to add sound.

For serious research into Jewish history there is no better place than The Dinur Center for Research in Jewish History. The site does not concentrate on fancy graphics but brings you literally thousands of sites from their updated database.

This site, Embassy of Israel Kids Page, is what my kids would call "cool". Personally, I think it's adorable. The site offers the younger set a fun environment in which to learn about the history, geography, and symbols of the State of Israel. Do NOT skip the Flash introduction to the site - this is a must see and the audio clips add just the right touch and inspiration.
