After reading about the Bar Kochba era mint coins that were found last month in Ein Gedi Nature Reserve, I was curious to discover this timely website Jerusalem Through Coins. The graphics are done well, so I was able to see the intricate carvings of the coins and the text is informative. A great site to commemorate Jerusalem Day.

A major Jewish site with up to date information on what's happening in the Jewish world is the Anti-Defamation League. This is one of the best sites for keeping up to date with anti-Semitism, hate crimes and even interfaith activities. Their sub-site on Terrorist Organization Profiles is a must see for anyone who wishes to understand what is behind the news.

Designed as a special project for Jewish Gen, ShtetLinks is a rich resource in itself. Each town has a number of links, some have photo galleries, others have maps or records. A wonderful site which deserves to be bookmarked.
