Many people have been asking me for a good site for "news behind the news" from Israel. Independent of your personal outlook and political orientation, Gamla Online is about as good as it gets.
Another well designed and informative site was produced by The Middle East Media and Research Institute (MEMRI) run by Col. (Res.) Yigal Carmon who was the Advisor to Prime Minister Rabin for Countering Terrorism.
http://www3.haaretz.co.il/htmls/1_1.htmProbably the best known English Jewish paper is the Jerusalem Post. Its competitor, Haaretz, has an excellent on line edition as well. A bit lighter graphically then its sister paper, it too features breaking news and a host of features including anglo file, focus section and pictures of the week.

Adults will want to take a look at Passover.net's Festival of Liberation. This site has all sorts of information: Passover how-to's, recipies, ask the Rabbi and more. Have fun navigating with their animated Mr. Matzah.
