Your gateway to the wealth of information from the Jewish Agency

March 2000

http://drybones.org.il/DRY.HTML

What would Israel be without Dry Bones? I, for one, don't want to know. Yaakov Kirschen began his column over 20 years ago (can it really be?) and now it is all available on Welcome to the Cartoon World of Dry Bones. The only problems I have with the site are that there is no category search available and that they do not include his full page multi cartoon, like my favorite: You know you've been here too long when.. Oh well, still if you want to smile - have a peek.

http://www.jewishsport.com/

No, the shortest book in the world is not Great Jewish Sportsman. Want me to prove it? Have a look at Jewish Sport.Com I am still searching for Sydney Franklin, the bullfighter born in Brooklyn. Ideas anyone???

http://www.womentowomenhealthcare.com/

Women! If you are interested in a health care exclusively for women by women, take a look at Women to Women, a unique health care facility and the first of its kind in Israel. Conventional and complementary services are offered by top professionals in their fields in an environment of dignity, sensitivity, and respect. Watching their Video Presentation is a must.

http://www.holocaust-trc.org/

The Holocaust Teacher Resource Center (TRC) web site, dedicated to the millions of people slaughtered during the Nazi era, is packed with various educational materials ranging from Kindergarten to College age level and is suitable for classroom studies. There is also an open forum for Holocaust educators and students to share information, questions, and answers.

http://www.613.org/purim.html

The Purim story has many facets. So does this website, Purim and Jokes at 613.org, the largest archive of Audio Jewish Classes about Purim on the net. There are a couple of joke links that may provide you with Purim Torah for the seuda or on the poignant side, listen to this excellent shiur: Should the Yeshiva have a Purim Party after the bombing in Tel Aviv (March 1996 -5756) - a Classic.
