Jerusalem is always a popular topic and the history of Jerusalem is
even more so. The Israel Ministry of Foreign Affairs has done a nice job of
combining both.

Finally a Jewish humor site with a simple directory. You need a joke
for a bar Mitzvah just click on B. Lori's Mishmash Jewish Humor
does not have the breadth of jokes but it is useful for when you need
just that one joke.

It may not be spring but the idea of springtime in Paris is not that
far away. So what about the Jewish aspect of the trip. There is a lot
of materiel available at Jewish Travel - Your World Wide Guide.
My only complaint is that it is mostly text based. The site would greatly
benefit from pictures and a few maps.
http://www.israelexperience.org/
Do you have someone who is looking for an Israel experience program?
Then a must site is Experience the Gift of Israel.
In addition to information on most programs in Israel there is
important information for College students who wish to take advantage
of the birthright grants to first timers.

For an unusual approach to the problem of anti-Semitism this month's
nod must go to Aish Hatorah's "Why the Jews". The site takes you
through the main reasons for anti-Semitism and is both high with
content and graphic quality.

You are thinking about making the ultimate move, Aliya to Israel. But what
about employment? Can you transfer easily to Israel? Do your skills apply in the
current Israeli market? Do you have the right degrees / certification?
Tehilla - Careers On-Line will answer these questions and
connect you with their contacts in the different employment fields in order to
give you a clear picture of what you can expect in Israel.
Starting this month, Tehilla is offering an employment seminar that includes topics
essential for the new oleh.

Keep abreast of the latest news and commentaries concerning the Golan Heights
with Gamla Shall Not Fall Again, an award winning political commentary site
featuring materials written by several of Israel's leading political analysts.

A 1995 survey of Israel's Central Bureau of Statistics shows
that 52 percent of Jewish men and 32 percent of Jewish
women between the ages of 25 and 29 were not married.
That year, there were some 50,000 unmarried people aged 25
to 44 in Jerusalem, Haifa and Tel Aviv.
Eden 2000, a non-profit organization, has taken on the task
of helping the religious Jewish professional.
I found this site to have a soothing effect. Hopefully it can have that same effect
if you're a frustrated single ready to "throw in
the towel". Eden 2000 offers a variety of cultural
and recreational programs for the native Israeli or new immigrant with the intent
of enhancing networking and strengthening roots in Israel.
http://www.shabbos.org.il/hospitality/index.htm
Check out the Shabbat Hospitality
Worldwide section of The Ultimate Shabbos Site.
Make a Shabbat connection anywhere in the world; North and South America,
Europe, Asia, Australia, Africa, Israel and C.I.S.
An excellent resource guide for the Jewish traveller.
It also lists candle lighting times for major cities on the homepage.
The art work is nicely done and should put one into the spiritual mode.
http://www.jordanvalley.org.il
This month's city spotlight is on The Jordan Valley. An informative
and colorful site. Concise information on tourism, agriculture, housing oppportunities,
communities, education, and a very warm welcome from the Mayor.
