"We did it - how about you?"

An Initiative of the Jewish Agency, Tal Brody and David Blatt Call on Maccabiah Participants to Return to Israel

Former Maccabi Tel Aviv basketball player Tal Brody and basketball coach David Blatt answered the call of the Chairman of the Jewish Agency Zeev Bielski to send a letter to the Maccabiah participants titled: "We did it. How about you? Hope to meet you soon in Israel." The two made aliyah following their participation in the Maccabiah Games and played key roles in their sport in Israel.

Today, Tuesday July 19, Zeev Bielski and Tal Brody will hand out the letter to Maccabiah participants during the half-time of the Women's Final Game of the Maccabiah basketball competition between the USA and Israel taking place in the MetroWest Arena in Ra'anana.

The Israeli/American women's basketball star, Shay Doron, who plays for the University of Maryland, will be playing for the USA team tonight.

At the initiative of the Jewish Agency and in cooperation with the management of the Maccabiah, the letter will be delivered tomorrow to the thousands of sports people who came from around the world to participate in the Maccabiah in Israel.

Today's game will take place in the MetroWest Arena at 7:00pm in Raanana.
