JerusalemUS Ambassador to Israel First Guest Lecturer at New Jewish Agency Luncheon Forum Devoted to the Jewish World
US Ambasador to Israel, H. E. Daniel C. Kurtzer was the first guest lecturer at a new Jewish Agency "luncheon forum" devoted to cardinal issues of the Jewish world, was inaugurated today by by Jewish Agency Director General, Maj. Gen. (Res.) Giora Romm. The forum attended today by some 80 Jerusalemite public figures in, the arts, academia, the media, and leaders of Jewish organizations, will meet periodically at six to eight week intervals. It will be a channel for reinforcing the historic bond between the Jewish Agency and Jerusalem and a means of acquainting opinion leaders with the many varied operations of the Jewish Agency on behalf of Israel and the Jewish people. At each meeting a speaker of high repute will raise an important issue for debate.
