Two Virtual Events:
Jewish Agency to Inaugurate "Information Ambassador" Hi-Tech Distance Learning Advocacy Course, with Foreign Ministry, Sunday, 12 May

The Jewish Agency will also inaugurate the 2nd Virtual Zionist Congress:
As part of the Jewish Agency's active involvement in Israel's information war, the Jewish Agency together with the Israel Ministry of Foreign Affairs will inaugurate an "Information Ambassador" hi-tech e-learning course, Sunday, 12 May. The six-week course was designed to answer the great demand for reliable information, coming from Jewish educators and community leaders and Jewish Agency emissaries abroad, and to assist them in advocating Israel's cause more effectively. The "Information Ambassador" course will be divided into three units: the history of the Middle East conflict, tools for methods of advocacy, and educational and moral aspects. The course was designed by leading experts who work constantly with the Israel Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and professionals in the field of Jewish  Education. The lectures themselves will be given by Neil Lazarus, a senior lecture in information techniques and advocacy. The course will be conducted in English. Those who complete the "Information Ambassador" course will be awarded a certificate by the Jewish Agency and the Israel Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

In order to participate in the course e-mail the Jewish Agency's Contact Center at   contactcenter@jazo.org.il

Parallel to the "Information Ambassador" course the Jewish Agency will open the 2nd Virtual Zionist Congress on the Jewish Agency Education Department website. Surfers will be able to participate in forums and chats on matters concerning the Jewish World and propose subjects to be deliberated upon in the 34th Zionist Congress, which will convene in Jerusalem next month. Ideas proposed in the Virtual Zionist Congress will have an important impact upon the deliberations of the Zionist Congress, and hence the  Virtual Zionist Congress constitutes an important channel whereby millions of Jews throughout the World will be able to influence the agenda of the entire Jewish People.
