The rising need for public housing for the elderly is a result of the mass immigration over the last eight years, and is likely to increase. Around 15% of immigrants from the FSU are over the age of 65. Amigour also manages 30,000 apartments, primarily in development towns, which are rented to new immigrants, young couples and large families.
