From Israel to Kosovo to Israel

Karol Unger, Head of Jewish Agency for Israel's Aliyah Department's East European Desk, headed Jewish Agency's humanitarian mission to Albania. He can be seen in the fourth photo distributing aid to Kosovo refugees. Jewish Agency supplied the Kosovo Albanian refugees with boxes of porridge, long-shelf milk donated by Tnuva Dairy, and other food stuffs as well as blankets, sleeping bags and coats. Many of the pictures show refugees using the supplies they were given by Jewish Agency. The eighth picture shows from left to right, Mr. Shimson Shoshani, Director General of Jewish Agency, Mr. Victor Mizrahi President of the Jewish Community of Macedonia, and Mr. Zdravko Sami Coordinator of the Jewish Community of Macedonia. In the ninth picture, Italian soldiers distribute food in a refugee camp.
