Training Ba'alei Tefillah:
This project establishes a formal training program in synagogue skills and Jewish knowledge for young adults who serve as ba'alei tefillah in small Jewish communities in the periphery of Argentina. The program includes a year-long course which meets for 36 4-hour sessions, and practicum experience in synagogues. Graduates travel to the small communities 5 to 6 times per year to lead religious, cultural, and educational activities.

Teacher Training for the Argentinian Periphery
This project expands the existing training program of the Marshall Meyer Bet Midrash for Jewish Studies teachers, in order to provide elementary school and supplementary school teachers for the Argentinean periphery. The project includes regular class sessions, distance learning courses, and two annual intensive seminars. All participants in the project come from communities of the periphery in Argentina.

Shiluv - Educating Toward Integration, Buenos Aires
The project includes a series of training sessions (intended to promote mainstreaming) for Masorti youth leaders, lay leaders, and professionals. Sessions for youth madrichim are open to members of other youth movements. The project also includes shared activities for children and youth from the Masorti kehillot, and Akim members. Also, Akim members who wish to celebrate their Bar/Bat Mitzvah will study with teenagers who will help them prepare for the ceremony.

This project is developing an interactive web site which provides Jewish learning for a variety of age ranges. The site serves both as a Machon and as an open Yeshiva. It is coordinated with the JAFI eAcademy. The project creates internet discussion and study groups. Visiting rabbis coach local professionals and volunteers on how to integrate the learning environment provided by the project into their local communities.

Project Hishtalmut This project provides sixteen two-year fellowships for Jewish secular studies teachers in Jewish day schools to enroll in Jewish Studies courses offered by the Shalom Institute. Participants study four hours per week for two years. They also attend eight one-day seminars and a final seminar, and complete several academic tasks. They will commit to remaining at their school for at least two years after completion of the program.

Students also participate in guided trips focusing on Jewish sites.

Center for European Jewish Advanced Studies
The project aims to enrich Jewish life throughout Europe. It includes a 9-day summer study program at the Rashi Institute in Troyes. Working with tutors, summer students develop a project to implement in their local communities. Tutors continue to provide supervision throughout the year. Students will take part in the program for 2 years, and will commit to serving in the local Jewish community for at least 2 years upon completing the program.

This project implements a training program for at least 10 principals from schools in the South of France. A Framework of Teacher Retraining, Professional Development, and Curriculum Adaptation for Jewish Education in the FSU This project is aimed at 18 "teacher-experimenters" who are involved in classroom testing and application of a curriculum developed by the Israel Ministry of Education and the CHAIS Center in Jerusalem. These "teacher-experimenters" attend a winter seminar and a summer school and also undertake individual projects in their respective schools. The individual work is guided by tutors who are experts in Jewish Studies and pedagogics.
