Shalom all,

Spring is in the air. The cold of winter is giving way to warm days, and life is awaking all around. The hills surrounding Macabim are colorful: a rainbow of different shades of pink cyclamens, red anemones and yellow daffodils is dancing in the green grass, spreading their fragrance and calling the buzzing bees and birds from the trees. Bar is enjoying the outdoors, zooming all over the place on any wheel he can find; waking Roy in the morning to a sweet, warm room is almost a mission impossible, and Rotem is leaving her army coat behind every morning. It's the best time of year that always seems to call us out, to travel through nature and enjoy our beautiful homeland. It's a great feeling of life, of beginning again, of creation. A feeling that nothing better than spring in Israel can give. An Israeli poet, Yonah Wallach, described this feeling of life in one of her poems:

The life you have
is the life you live
look back in understanding
find the point of beginning
of creation
create yourself
it's the best world
the only world
that you can create
it's all within you
discover it...

May we all have a life of spring-filled discovery,
Shabbat Shalom
Liat
