ISRAEL EDUCATION MONTH

Massada, a story of Jewish historical and archeological import is now available to you, online from the comfort of your computer screen. You are invited to join and participate in an educational tour of the world acclaimed site. We will broadcast live from the mountain through the Internet. You will be able to communicate with the tour guide and other visitors, in real time. So, no more carrying water up the mountain or worrying about sunburn, just tune us in, sit back and get ready for a live virtual internet tour of Massada.

The tour will include a guided exploration of the archeological site and discussion of issues that arise from this site. These issues include the controversial history of the site and its place in the Israeli and Jewish national consciousness.

Our next Tour dates:

March 24, 2003 at 3:30 - 4:30 PM Israel Time
March 25, 2003 at 4:00 - 5:00 PM Israel Time

To participate, all you need is a soundcard and speakers (microphone and web-camera are optional. If you have a microphone you will be able to speak directly to the guides and if you have a web-cam we can see you as well as you see us. If you do not have these items you will be able to participate via text chat. )
