For a Jewish border
By A.B.YEHOSHUA
Jerusalem Post Internet Edition, July 22nd 2002
http://www.jpost.com/servlet/Satellite?pagename=JPost/A/JPArticle/ShowFull&cid=1025787840261
A lengthy expose of analysis and understanding of Jewish
existence is applied to the current reality by this
writer, whose word power is immense. The digression
into history is important, and so is the discussion
with contemporary Israeli poet Haim Gouri, but even
if you skim this, to focus on the end of the article
it remains cohesive and coherent in argument. AB Yehoshua's
political views are well known, but his appeal for
self-understanding and understanding of both political
and human realities are pragmatic, as well as dramatic.
What the Qur'an really says
by Shaykh Prof. Abdul Hadi Palazzi
Root & Branch Association, Islam-Israel Fellowship
(April 5, 1999)
http://www.rb.org.il/Islam-Israel/commentary/islamcom1.htm
Qoran exegesis and Professor Palazzi's explanations
on the giving of the Land of Israel, the Jewish State,
Muslim states' relationship with Israel, Jewish sovereignty
over Jerusalem, Muslim Holy Places. Although very
detailed, this is a good introduction to points of
principle and Quoranic text relating to these issues.
Other articles in this index address political and
fundamentalist Islamic tendencies and argue different
positions with additional textual sources. http://www.rb.org.il/Islam-Israel/commentary/index.htm

Debunks the Muslim population explosion thesis for
Arab countries and even a potential Palestinian state,
whereby Israel will feel threatened by rapid external
demographic expansion : assessment of demographic
data for various countries - birth rate, population
growth - shows that they are not expected to swamp
Israel by 2025.
History Isn't on the Palestinians'
Side
Victor Davis Hanson
The Wall Street Journal Tuesday, April 2, 2002
Archived at: http://www.frontpagemag.com/mideastwar.htm
Presents the brutal reality of historical truth - various
precedents on resolution of lands issues; lack of
rights of Palestinians in ME states. Terror bombing
wins no support; but the US knows the history and
won't submit to threats from anti-democratic sympathizers
of Bin Laden. US patience is running out.
Expulsion or Flight?
Benny Morris
The Guardian Tuesday, January 16, 2001
http://www.guardian.co.uk/israel/Story/0,2763,422885,00.html
Israel's liberalization enables figures to address
flight and certain expulsions of Arabs in 1948. The
PA's rejection of a compromise solution was counter-productive
(2000); however, refugee repatriation 'would spell
the destruction of the Jewish state.'
Palestinians: Israel Simply
is Not Yours
Neil Steinberg
Chicago Sun-Times September 9, 2001
Archived at http://www.netanyahu.org/palissimisno.html
Parallels Palestinian refugee resolution proposals
with US immigration policy on Mexico; brings historical
dominion as the precedent. The real reason behind
the non- resolution of the conflict is Palestinian
hatred of Jews.
