An article in the Palestinian Authority daily Al-Ayyam by columnist
Ashraf Al-'Ajrami addressed the phenomenon of Palestinian children
carrying out suicide attacks and the roots of this trend. Al-'Ajrami
demanded that the PA take measures to stop this type of attack.
Presents the physical and psychological impact on children of the
Al-Aksa Intifada who then offer themselves as "martyrs. Their simplified
world-view is exploited and their loyalty is exploited no less by
public speeches than by those eager to peddle ineffective arms to
defenseless children. Suggests a series of supervisory and constructive
ideas to engage children at home and school.
