- Shehechiyanu at Haas Promenade followed by orientation to the program.
- Evening visit to the living museum in Nachalat Shiva - Actors musicians and singers bring to life the story of seven families who left the walled city of Jerusalem at   the end of the nineteenth century to build a new neighborhood.

WEDNESDAY 14/6, 11 SIVAN
- Early morning Bet Midrash - "Nine Measures of Beauty: Jerusalem".
The Bet Midrash will include a presentation, study in small groups and a summary and is the preparation for our day of touring which will take us through Yerushalyim shel mata (the earthly Jerusalem) in order to better understand the concept of Yerushalyim shel maala (the heavenly Jerusalem). The teachers in the Bet Midrash sessions will be from the faculty of the Schechter Institute for Jewish Studies, the Israel campus of JTS.

- Evening meeting with Sharon Perry who is the coordinator of Tali Ganim - affiliated with the Masorati Movement in Israel and the director of the Tali EC framework in Pisgat Zeev, Jerusalem.


THURSDAY 15/6, 12 SIVAN
- Ofakim is the town that is partnered with Metro West through JAFI's Partnership 2000 program. We will visit early childhood frameworks and meet with area supervisors and colleagues.
- Sde Boker for tour and activity with the staff of Midreshet Ben Gurion. We will visit Ben Gurion's house and gravesite, learn about his vision for the desert and participate in a special activity called "A Personal Journey through Photographs"
- an exercise in creating a personal picture of the Israel and our relationship to it.
- Bedouin experience and dinner at The Desert Safari.

FRIDAY 16/6, 13 SIVAN
- Nachlaot Game with Ross Culiner - an interactive game that teaches about the history and current life in one of Jerusalem's most colorful areas. The game is on Friday morning so we will also get a sense of Jerusalem preparing for Shabbat.
- Small group visits to early childhood centers for Kabbalat Shabbat.
- Kabbalat Shabbat and oneg Shabbat at Hebrew Union College.

SHABBAT 17/6, 14 SIVAN
- Tefilot at different synagogues in the area of the hotel
Kiddush at Rabbi Paul Friedman's home and study session on Parashat Ha Shavua: Be Haalotcha.
- Late afternoon walking tour to Yemin Moshe
- Study session "Why Was the Torah Given in the Desert?" in preparation for our visit to Ein Gedi and Masada.
- Tower of David Museum - 'Chihuly by night', an exhibit by renowned glass artist - Chihuly.

SUNDAY 18/6, 15 SIVAN
- Sunrise in the desert
- Masada and Ein Gedi - a look at the stories and influences of two of Israel's most significant sites.
- Relaxing at the mineral beach

MONDAY 19/6, 16 SIVAN
- Bet Midrash on 'Models of Community', including a visit to the Shrine of the Book.
- Kibbutz Gezer - Pinat Shorashim
- Evening in Tel Aviv

TUESDAY 20/6, 17 SIVAN
- Bet Hamikra - Bible Story House in Ramat Gan.
- Visit to Zippori
- Walking tour of Tzefat

WEDNESDAY 21/6, 18 SIVAN
- Tel Chai College to work with Ms. Naama Zoran head of the early childhood faculty. Ms. Zoran is responsible for bringing the Reggio Emilia approach to Israel. She will not devote the entire time to Reggio but rather to some of the underlying questions: i.e. what do children teach us? How do we learn to listen to children? And how do we learn to listen to ourselves?
- Golan - Katzrin and Har Ben Tal
- Hatzar Rishonim and Kinneret cemetery - the story of the pioneers: A new model of Jewish community in an old land.

THURSDAY 22/6, 19 SIVAN
- Yad Vashem (with Rachel Korazim)

- All three sites will deal with Memory and Remembering in Jewish and Israeli Culture.
- Evening study session, Tel Aviv the First Hebrew City - the story of those whose lives were devoted to the creation of a living vibrant Hebrew culture in the land of   Israel (in preparation for our visit to Tel Aviv) with Steve Israel
