UN General Assembly Holocaust Commemoration
European Holocaust Memorial Day
On Monday 24th January, the UN General Assembly will hold a Special Session
to commemorate the 60th Anniversary of the Nazi concentration camps, while
on 27th January, Europe marks Holocaust Memorial Day on the
date of the 60th Liberation of Auschwitz. This is the first time
that the UN is holding a Special Session to commemorate the Holocaust
and it is the first international assembly of its kind. The UN website
