Study Day at the Education Department to mark the Shloshim for the Victims of the Air Disaster

The Department for Jewish Zionist Education marked the Shloshim on November 4th/18th Heshvan with a Study Day on Interpretations of Jewish Law and Customs in Mourning, especially in the context of different cultural codes.

Session presenters at the study day were Rami Reiner and Ruth Kalderon of the Alma Institute for Talmudic Study. Memorial study is being conducted concurrently in all the Jewish Agency's educational and ulpan centers throughout the former Soviet Union.
