For more than 90 years JNF has been caring for forests, woodlands and 'open areas' and all that they entail - trees, sub-forests, shrubs, flowers, animals, forest roads, hiking trails, rest areas, water points. In several places it has even introduced sculpture and art, such as in the President's Forest, Martyrs' Forest and Ben Shemen Forest. All these activities are aimed at inproving the environment in which man lives.
