First Steps Towards Independence

Women from Beit Shemesh

 

Located on the Mevasseret Zion Absorption Center and in the town of Beit Shemesh, two groups of single mothers, immigrants from Ethiopia, participate in a program operated by a non-profit organization called, B'atzmi, in cooperation with the Jewish Agency for Israel.

Practicing What He Preaches

Rabbi Eliahou Touitou

 

Rabbi Eliahou Touitou (pronounced Twito) came on aliyah with his wife and children. He also took along twenty of his students from Boulogne (near Paris). They did not go along with him on a field trip, but rather as Naaleh students who make aliyah before their parents.
