US PILOT AND DIVER HELPS ORGANIZE CONVENTION ON INTERNATIONAL STANDARDIZATION TO BE HELD IN ISRAEL Prof. Annette Sobel, Deputy Commander of US Home Command, enlists to help organize convention of thousands of experts from all over the world Despite repeated announcements of cancellation of conventions in Israel, in a few months an international conference on Standardisation (ISO) quality will take place in Jerusalem. Thousands are expected to attend the conference, including standardization experts from industry, banking, economics, the military and the medical sector. Deputy Commander of the US Air Force Home Front, Jewish pilot and diver Brig. Gen. Annette Sobel, has enlisted to help the convention's organizer, Dr. Ornah Dreisin. She is currently working to recruit lecturers who are Standardization experts from all over the world to come to Israel. The guest will chair a session on biotechnology and will coordinate this subject. Prof. Sobel is a senior lecturer and researcher at the University of New Mexico, Faculty of Computer Engineering and Electronics. At the convention she will deliver a lecture on the subject of recent innovations in the field of computers and electronics. Due to take place at the Jerusalem Convention Center (Binyanei Hauma), Conference will address quality control, quality management and various methods for improving the quality and reliability of organizations. It will be emphasized that improving quality in Israel, guarantees a higher GDP and exports. The conference will be attended by representatives from the public, business and service sectors, the military, education and communications sectors.
