KUZAR TELECOM SYSTEMS & HARUACH HAYISRAELI DONATE TO BEN-YAKIR YOUTH VILLAGE

Kuzar Telecom Systems Ltd. recently donated a computerized resource center for children at the Ben-Yakir Youth Village in Kfar Haroeh. The communications company, which develops and manufactures cellular adapters, decided to help youth in need through the Haruach Hayisraeli (the Israeli Spirit) fundraising organization, established by the Jewish Agency and Keren Hayesod.

The center, which is situated in a pleasant space different from an ordinary classroom, includes resources from a variety of media available to both students and teachers. For example: maps, books, pictures, educational films, computerized data banks, links to the Internet, and more.

An official inauguration ceremony will be held toward the end of the year, to be attended by representatives of Kuzar, the Jewish Agency's Youth Aliyah Department, the Ben-Yakir Youth Village and Haruach Hayisraelit.

Haruach Hayisraelit works to raise funds among the private and business sectors of the Israeli public on behalf of children at risk and underprivileged youth. The solution is to support the youth villages throughout the county, enabling youth to exercise their right to develop and live normal lives. The children are removed from their deprived surroundings and given the chance to settle in a new, enriching environment.
