JAFI BOOTH AT AGRO-MASHOV AGRICULTURE EXHIBIT

The biannual Agro-Mashov exhibition, which took place last week in Tel Aviv, spotlighted Israel's achievements in the areas of agriculture and settlement. The exhibit, which has been taking place since 1990, focused on issues like settlement of the land and its social ramifications.

A public forum took place during the exhibition, at which many topics related to agriculture and settlement were discussed. Factories that produce fertilizer and agricultural equipment displayed their products.

The Jewish Agency booth provided information on its settlement activities including community building and cooperation with regional councils, as well as activities in the fields of tourism, aliyah and absorption.

Some 60,000 Israelis visit the fair each year.
