SAFEGUARD THE CHILD'S WORLD - JOINT PERFORMANCE BY SINGER D'OR WITH CHILDREN'S CHOIR SUPPORTED BY P2K

David D'Or and a children's choir at a program sponsored by Partnership 2000

A unique event, called Safeguard the Child's World, in which singer David D'Or and students at various music programs in the Central Galilee participated, took place this week at Kibbutz Yifat. The music programs are sponsored by the Jewish Agency-Jewish Federation of Detroit Partnership 2000 program, which also supported the performance.

One of the acts in the performance is Sounds of Love, a musical program in which both Jewish and Arab students from various schools in the Central Galilee took part. The music engenders acquaintance and discussion among young people who live side by side. Another program Excellence in Music, enables musically talented students to develop their skills. It is one of many components of the Metzuyanut (excellence) program for music, technology, and sports that is sponsored by Partnership 2000 in the Central Galilee.
