WEB SURFERS FOLLOW CONGRESS DISCUSSIONS

New Internet site in three languages enables surfers to get updates and participate in deliberations

A new website, in English, Hebrew, and German, has been created for the World Zionist Congress, which will take place June 17-20 in Jerusalem.

The site, which was created by the Education Department's Pedagogic Center headed by Dr. Motti Friedman, enabled surfers to get regular updates on the Congress. It is divided into seven topics Agenda, Issues, Resolutions, The Congress; Resources, Zionist Gallery, and Participants. Each topic provides access to several sub-topics as well as explanations on the composition of the Congress and the way it works.

The site also enabled entrance into forums and chat rooms, making it possible for surfers to take an active role in Congress discussions, to submit items to the agenda, and to express their opinions on the various issues under discussion.
