THE CHAIRMAN'S WIFE APPLAUDS SUICIDE ATTACKS Suha Arafat: Suicide Attacks are a Legitimate Right The Lebanese paper Almustakbal (from April 14, 2002) quotes Suha Arafat, in an interview with the Saudi AlMajala magazine, in which she applauds suicide attacks against Israel. The following is a quotation from the newspaper: "Suha said that 'Opposition is a legitimate right of every occupied people, and suicide bombings are an inseparable part of this right.' In response to the question, 'If you had a son, would you to his carrying out suicide attacks?' she said, 'Is there a higher honor than dying for Allah?' She called upon Arab leaders to support 'the Palestinian struggle,' emphasizing that she is certain of "victory."
