IDF COMPLETES PULL-OUT FROM JENIN AND NABLUS
HEADS OF TANZIM AND HAMAS ARE DETAINED IN SAMARIA

Detainees are Marwan Barghuti who was apprehended in Ramallah, and Husan Badran who was involved in the terror attacks against Israel in recent years

The head of the CIA, George Tenet will be coming to the Middle East next week, in another attempt to bring about a cease-fire - since U.S. Secretary of State, Colin Powell concluded his visit unsuccessfully.

In the meantime, in the Territories, the IDF completed the pulling-out from Jenin's center tonight and continues the closure. It will complete its pull-out from Nablus by Sunday. On the eve of the pull-out, the IDF arrested two of the central figures involved in Palestinian terrorist activities: head of the Tanzim in the West Bank, Marwan Barghuti and head of the military arm of the Hamas in Samaria, Husan Badran who was involved in all the terrorist attacks against Jews in the past year.

Following the arrests, the Hamas threatened to kill Prime Minister Ariel Sharon. The IDF is still in control of Ramallah and Bethlehem, as Arafat refuses to deliver Minister Ze'evi's killers, and the terrorists who are taking refuge in the Church of the Nativity and are refusing to surrender.

U.N. envoy Terje Larsen criticized Israel today, following IDF operations in Jenin, in spite of data provided by Israel indicating that there was no massacre, and that the majority of the demolished homes were empty of residents, providing a hide-away for armed terrorists and ammunitions.
