JEWISH AGENCY INITIATIVE: CALM AND PLEASANT SUMMER FOR "SEAM LINE" CHILDREN

As a result of the tense security situation, the Jewish Agency is currently providing special assistance for settlements along the Seam Line in the south of Israel, aimed at running summer events for the children of Sderot and the Eshkol and Shaar Hanegev Regional Council.

Moshe Almoznino, head of the Jewish Agency southern region office, said that the assistance, to the tune of NIS 270,000, will enable thousands of children from the Seam Line areas to enjoy the summer holidays just like any other Israeli children.

Jewish Agency support includes excursions all over the country, visits to fun centers, artistic performances, cultural events, enrichment groups and day camps. In addition at the end of August, there will be a closing event in Sderot with performers and singers.
